AI Project Builder

AI build allowances

How many projects each plan can build with AI, when the allowance refills, and what happens when a build fails.

An AI build is one generated case study. The allowance is counted separately from your storage, your project count and your 3D-model limits — those are different resources and using one does not consume another.

Essential
1 project in total, once
Professional
5 projects every billing month
Premium
20 projects every billing month
90-Day Job Search Pass
5 projects during the 90 days

When the allowance refills

  • On Essential the allowance does not refill. It is one build for the life of the account, intended so you can see what the importer does with your own work before deciding whether to pay for it.
  • On Professional and Premium it refills at the start of each billing month, on the same date your subscription renews — not on the first of the calendar month.
  • On the 90-Day Job Search Pass the allowance covers the whole pass rather than refilling monthly within it.

What uses a build

  • Generating a case study from an import uses one build.
  • Rebuilding the draft after answering the questions uses another. You are told this before you press the button, and the remaining count is shown next to it.
  • Saving your answers does not use a build. Neither does editing the draft text, choosing which files to keep, or publishing the finished project.

If a build fails

A build that fails because of a problem on our side — the AI service being unavailable, or returning something we could not use — does not cost you a build. The allowance is returned automatically, everything already read from your files is kept, and you are offered a retry. You do not need to contact us to have it refunded.

When you run out

The importer tells you which plan would raise the limit, and you can still create projects manually with no restriction at all. Nothing you have already built is affected, and no file is deleted because an allowance ran out.
