Your data
Exporting or deleting your data
Download everything in your account, or ask for it all to be erased.
Exporting
Settings → Account has a Download my data button. It returns a JSON file covering your account, profile, projects, CV, uploaded files, billing history, sharing links, collaboration, analytics totals, email and support history — immediately, without contacting us and without a waiting period.
Uploaded files are listed with their URLs rather than packed into the download, because they are already downloadable from your account. Sign in and open a URL to fetch the bytes.
- Individual portfolio view records are summarised, not listed — each one describes a visitor rather than you, and is stored as a rotating hash that cannot be reversed.
- No password, session, token or card detail is included, by design. A downloaded export must not be usable to take over the account it describes.
Deleting
Settings → Account also starts a deletion. It is not immediate: your account is erased 14 days after you ask.
That gap is deliberate. Deletion is the one thing here nobody can undo for you, so there is a window in which an accidental request — or one made by somebody who should not have been in your account — can be reversed. You are emailed as soon as a deletion is scheduled, and signing in and choosing "Keep my account" stops it.
- Your public portfolio goes offline immediately, not after the waiting period.
- Any active subscription is set to cancel straight away, so you are not charged for a period you will not use.
- Cancelling the deletion restores your portfolio exactly as it was. It deliberately does not restart a cancelled subscription — that would be a charge you did not authorise.
- Once the deletion runs, your data is gone and cannot be recovered from backups on request.
